In everyday life, "purposeful living" often refers to having goals, pursuing passions, and aligning your actions with values to create a meaningful existence. These are all worthy ways to approach life, of course. However, Sri Anand Yoga (SAY) takes a distinct approach to this concept, using it to describe a radically different experience. 


Sri Anand Yoga (SAY) redefines Purposeful Living as a state of heightened awareness and intention in each fleeting moment. It's not about chasing goals, but rather a complete immersion in the present. SAY takes this concept even a step further. Purposeful Living in SAY goes beyond simply being present; it's about infusing every moment with what they call "LIVING ENERGY." This isn't about ordinary intentions, but rather vivifying each experience with your fullest, most intense awareness. SAY Vipassana meditation, a core practice within SAY (explained elsewhere), serves as a powerful tool to cultivate this unique approach to Purposeful Living.


While the typical notion of purposeful living focuses on mental pursuits like setting goals, Sri Anand Yoga (SAY) emphasises living purposefully on a deeper level – encompassing heart, mind, and soul.  At the core, it's about being fully present in each fleeting moment, without the burden of goals.  This present-moment awareness, according to SAY's principles of spiritual-physical science, naturally aligns you with the boundless energy of the Cosmos.  Though  our limitations might prevent us from fully receiving, retaining, and transmitting this energy, even a small spark has the power to radically transform our lives, cultivating qualities akin to the Buddha Nature.


Our usual way of thinking often falls short of true Purposeful Living.  Imagine being trapped in a familiar, well-worn path.  This mindset, comfortable as it may seem,  keeps us from venturing into the uncharted territory of mindful living in each fleeting moment.  Sri Anand Yoga (SAY) proposes a radical departure – discarding these limitations and embarking on a bold adventure.  It's a journey into the unexplored depths of our own awareness, where we can truly connect with the present.

By focusing our attention on the micro-moment, a process akin to nuclear fission occurs. We can call it "Quantum Time Fission".
